Smoke and Dye Testing Information:

In accordance with Buffalo Township Ordinance # 125, a smoke and dye test will be required prior to all property transfers or refinances beginning January 15, 2012. This requirement applies to all properties connected to the Sanitary Sewer System of the Municipal Authority of Buffalo Township. Any lien letter issued after this date by the Authority or by Buffalo Township will require written certification that the property has passed a smoke and dye test. A copy of Ordinance #125 and a list of the plumbers authorized by the Authority to perform the test can be found at the links below.

The cost for all lien letters issued by the Authority after this date (water and/or sewer) will increase to $40.
